REGISTRATION FEE -
$100 per child
This
annual fee is due at the initial time of enrollment and again each February for
the upcoming school year. The registration fee is the first step in the
registration process and it is not refundable. A
full one-week notice, or payment of one-week’s additional tuition fee, is
required when a child withdraws from any program at the
Child
Development
Center
.
BOOK / SUPPLY /
MAINTENANCE FEE – Based on Age Group
This
fee is due at the time of enrollment and again each year for children enrolled
for the following fall. These fees are
not refundable after their designated due dates, nor is there
reimbursement of any materials should the child withdraw before the end of the
school year. Payment completes the second and final stage of the registration
process and secures your child’s space in our program for the following school
year.

WEEKLY TUITION RATES - FULL
DAYCARE PROGRAM
This
is a weekly fee for children enrolled in the full daycare program at the CDC.
These children may attend anytime during regular operating hours from
6:00 a.m.
until
6:00 p.m.
This price includes the learning
program, snacks and lunch. Breakfast is optional and is offered for an
additional weekly fee. There will be no reduction in fees for absences, holidays
or closings due to bad weather conditions.
6 weeks - 18 months:

*There is a
$12 discount for each additional child in the full daycare program. Breakfast is

This
is a weekly fee for children enrolled in only the kindergarten program. Students
may arrive as early as

in the mornings, but must be picked up

enrolled in. The price includes morning snack and lunch. Students enrolled in
kindergarten observe the same holidays as public schools. Full weekly fees are
still due during holiday periods. The CDC observes the
Barton
Academy
cutoff date for student placement in
our K3, K4 and K5 kindergarten classes.

Care is provided for children entering K5 through fifth grade. Transportation to

, Semmes, Collier and Orchard
Elementary Schools is included. Lunch is included when they attend on school
holidays. There will be no reduction in weekly fees for absences during holiday
periods.

Summer Camp Rates
SUMMER
CAMP REGISTRATION FEE -
$30 per child
This
fee is charged for children who will only be attending the
Summer Camp program. This is for 5-year-olds through 5th graders. The
registration fee is due at the time of enrollment and is not refundable.
SUMMER
ACTIVITY FEE – Based on
Age Group
This
is a one-time, non-refundable fee to cover supplies and activities during the
Summer Camp program.

is a weekly fee for children from 3-years-old and up who are enrolled in
the partial week summer program. The 12:30/2:30 program is not offered during
the summer, and full day spaces in the 2/3 day week program will be filled on an
availability basis. Days may not
be changed from week to week, and days may not be substituted when a child is
absent on their scheduled day to attend.

MISCELLANEOUS
FEES
Late Payment Fee: Tuition
payments are due in advance on Friday for the upcoming week. A grace period
extends through Wednesday of the week that is due. Late payment fees of $5 per
day are assessed on accounts not paid by
6:00 p.m.
Wednesday. If an account becomes a
week past due, service will not be provided the following Monday morning until
the past due balance is brought current. Tuition may be paid by cash, check or
money order. We do not accept credit cards or debit cards. A weekly checking
account debit is offered. Payments may be made in the front office, or placed in
one of our payment drop boxes.
Late Pick Up Fee: The
center closes at
6:00
each evening. A late pick up fee of $10 is charged during the first 5 minutes
after closing. There is an additional $1 per minute charged after
6:05 p.m.
Returned Check Fee: There
is a $30 service fee charged on any returned check. If the check is returned due
to bank error, the center will require a statement from that financial
institution in order to reverse the service charges. After the second check has
been returned for Non Sufficient Funds, all payments must be made by cash,
cashier’s check or money order.
Vacations/Absences: There
is no reduction in fee for absences, holidays or closings due to bad weather
conditions. After attending the CDC year-round for twelve months, each child
enrolled in the daycare program will be allowed two weeks of vacation without
paying. Children who do not attend during the summer do not qualify for
vacation. Vacations must be taken on a full-week, Monday through Friday basis, and
they run on a calendar year. Unused vacation at the end of the calendar year
will not roll over. Children enrolled in the 8-12:30 or 8-2:30 programs observe
the same holidays as public schools. Their full weekly fee will still be due
during these holiday periods.
Leaves of Absence: The
following are conditions when leaves may be granted. No fee will be charged to
hold the child’s space during these periods, but annual vacation must be
forfeited, and NO COMBINATION of the following may be used:
*Up
to 4 weeks during the summer for non-custodial parental leave (court
documentation required)
OR
*Up
to 6 weeks following sibling’s birth for children of parents who are off due
to maternity leave
OR
*Up
to 3 months during the summer for teachers, college students or other 9-month
employees
