Barbara Driskell was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but she has lived in the South most of her adult life. Early in her career, she taught kindergarten at Calvary Baptist in Birmingham, and after moving to the Mobile area, she served as the Director of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Daycare. In 1984, Barbara became the Director for our center, and she has been with us ever since. In the early nineties, she decided to go back to school, and she received her degree in Business Administration from the University of Mobile in 1994. Barbara is married to John Driskell, who is our Maintenance Supervisor for the CDC. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
