Welcome to Moffett Road Baptist Child Development
Center! We would like to invite you take a quick tour of our facilities and see
the many conveniences that we have to offer for you and your child.
Front Lobby Area -
The safety of your child is of the utmost importance to us. Our center
features one central entrance area, where parents and visitors must enter
through an electronically secured door. Parents choose a personal PIN number
when their child enrolls, and anyone dropping off or picking up their child must have
that PIN number in order to enter the building. Other
doors to our building remain locked from the outside as added security.
Playgrounds and Gym -
We have four separate playground areas on our property. Each one is
completely enclosed and designed with your child in mind. A variety of age
appropriate equipment, from climbing toys, to swings, to tricycle tracks, has
been provided for your little one’s entertainment. Our Elementary playground
also features a large open area where the children can have organized
team activities, as well as plenty of room for free play. The gymnasium in the
Christian Family Life Center is also used for our P.E. classes, as well as an
indoor play area on cold or rainy days.
Kitchen and Cafeteria
- Our center provides
breakfast, hot lunches and snacks for our students each day. Menus are planned
to offer a variety of healthy and tasty treats for all ages, from infants
through school age. Our older children are served in the lunchroom, which is
adjacent to our kitchen facilities, located
in our gymnasium. A separate hot cart is brought over to the main building each
day, and infants and toddlers have their own “Baby Cafeteria”.
Nurseries -
Parents can feel comfortable leaving their little ones in our care, as
our nurseries are designed to specifically meet the needs of newborns and
toddlers. In our infant rooms, each child has their own personal crib and their
own cubby for diapers, toiletries and other supplies. Each room is equipped with
a changing table, which includes a large storage area and sink with running
water. A refrigerator and microwave are also located in the Baby Department for
storage, bottle warming and food preparation.
Classrooms -
Our Pre-K through K5 classrooms are geared for learning! Children learn
through a variety of hands-on activities, from free play to instruction; so our
rooms are designed with “centers” in mind - - - blocks, home living, arts
and crafts, puzzles and floor play, just to name a few. Each of our K4
classrooms is equipped with a computer, and our K5 classroom has a computer lab
with multiple stations.
